Not sure if there were Blues Brothers, but for AME Systems Community Charity Ball Tim Andrew from the Victorian Police Blue ribbon Foundation Ararat branch, Chris Carthew from AME Systems and Philip Goudie from Ararat Community College will be donning the dark glasses. Picture: Casey Tomkins

Dress and dance the night away to the 70’s, 80’s and 90s theme  at the AME Systems Community Charity Ball.

Proceeds from the Ball, held as part of the AME Country Quality Weekend, will aid the Ararat Community College Chaplaincy Program, Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation Ararat Branch and the Ararat Hospital .

The night will feature two class acts, Chad Romero’s Cabernet Cabaret and the Australian Blues Brothers Show.

Chad Romero is one of Adelaide's more gregarious show biz personas and is known as “The International Lounge Lizard and Connoisseur of Cheez”!

Chad will front the quirkiest, smirkiest, cheesiest and hippest happening party combo this side of the Antarctic!

The Australian Blues Brothers Show will feature a briefcase full of blues.

It is rare to see master blues men practising their craft, so while you can, stand up, shake it out and get ready to party with Australia’s premier soul, rhythm and blues revue which will include the 3 Soul Sisters who alternate between backing vocals and stepping forward into the spotlight.

Everyone at the AME Charity Ball will be dancing and singing along until after’ the midnight hour’.

Tickets are $50 per person (tables of ten available) , with complimentary drinks from 7.30pm to 8.30pm and BYO drinks and supper.

Bookings and payment can be made through AME Systems Reception, Gordon Street Ararat phone 5352 9000.
